Short and honest

RandomRecept is a free recipe site. We keep things simple, including with your data: we collect as little as possible and never sell anything on to anyone.

Which data do we process?

• No account details: you can use the whole site without an account or registration.
• Ticked-off ingredients stay in your own browser and never leave your device.
• Our server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages visited) to keep the site running and secure. These are not used to track you.

Sharing with others

We share no personal data with third parties. The fonts on the site are loaded through Google Fonts, which means Google sees a request coming in from your browser. Beyond that we use no external services, trackers or advertising networks.

How long we keep things

Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short time. We keep no other data, because we do not have any.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to see, correct and delete your data. Since we record almost nothing about you there is usually little to see, but you are always welcome to ask.

Google Analytics

Only if you have switched statistics on in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which recipes are read most. Your IP address is truncated and personalised advertising is switched off. The processing is done by Google Ireland Limited within the European Union. We cannot see who you are in it, only totals. If you say no, nothing is loaded and nothing is sent. There is more about this in our cookie policy.

Changes

If the site changes (for example when the app arrives) we will update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
